For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Cassie Brown attended Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. While attending her freshman year at Coastal Carolina University, Dr. Cassie was unfortunately involved in a serious car accident that left her with intense back pain. After trying many different methods healing care, the only thing that helped to relief her pain was regular chiropractic care. Dr. Cassie was so impressed with the relief she found from chiropractic care she decided that is what she wanted to do with her life; to help people the way she had been helped.
After graduating from Coastal Carolina University in 2007, she continued her education at Life University, attending the Doctor of Chiropractic program in Marietta, Georgia. While at Life University, Dr. Cassie’s passion continued to blossom as she discovered she had a love for pediatrics. She chose to focus on the specialty of chiropractic care for children and pregnant women, working in the pediatric unit of Life University’s outpatient clinic. She has also completed classes through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association; becoming Webster certified (a specific chiropractic adjusting technique for pregnancy). After she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in 2012, she opened her own family-focused chiropractic office in Roswell, Georgia. Along with providing chiropractic care for the community, she also teaches pediatric workshops at her office and has spoken at Emory University and will soon be published in the Journal of Pediatric Maternal and Family Health.
Dr. Cassie is planning on taking the 3 day pediatric certification exam within the coming year, to become a board certified pediatric chiropractor through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She lives near the office in North Georgia with her husband, Forrest and her 15 month old daughter, Alexa.
